A tale of left and right

A visit to a friend, a slight misunderstanding over which parking spot, the note on the car and the horrible realisation that you’ve taken some else’s space.

But when the owner of the space was so gracious about our mistake that it made me want to be more forgiving of transgressions too. It’s small stuff not worth sweating over. It is incompetence being attributed to malice.

It was such a lovely visit. I met the neighbour for the first time as I was leaving for the school run and she was heading back from moving her car…like you I was moved by how lovely she was. I apologised for giving duff directions and we stopped for a chat and she was SO gracious…it made me go away resolving to be less impatient with people and give more grace too.
